The Field Services - North Regional Office provides investigative, logistical and
limited analytical support for the major MDEQ regulatory programs for northern Mississippi.

Closer contact with pollution sources and the affected population allows the staff of these offices to better respond to public needs such as:
  • inspections
  • routine air and water monitoring
  • investigation of fish kills
  • spills and accidents involving oil or hazardous materials
  • coordination with the state civil defense on national disasters
  • other emergency services during incidents involving substances dangerous to lives and property.

From Oxford, travel east on Hwy 6 (towards Pontotoc/Tupelo) approximately 3 miles. You will see a water tower on your right. Turn right onto the next county road (CR 413) after you pass the water tower. The North Regional Office will be the first driveway on the right.
