    • developing community recycling education programs;
    • locating markets for recyclable materials collected and processed in community recycling programs; and
    • providing technical assistance on container and equipment needs for collecting and processing recyclable materials.

    • locating markets for various recyclable materials including corrugated containers (OCC), newsprint (ONP), office and computer paper (SWL/CPO), plastics (#1 to #6), electronic and computer scrap and other materials;
    • promoting recycling facilities across the state through our statewide recycling directory;
    • providing technical assistance on permits that may be required or other environmental considerations at a recycling facility; and
    • providing educational materials to recycling facilities that can be distributed to the general public on recycling and solid waste reduction issues.
