About Us

The Data Integration Division (DID) is responsible for the data integration activities within the Office of Pollution Control (OPC). DID provides support to Environmental Permits Division, the Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Division, and the Environmental Media Divisions for a broad range of information technology needs.

A primary function of DID is the administration and maintenance of OPC's integrated information management system, enSite (electronic Environmental Site Information System). Another key activity is the maintenance of Mississippi's data in Federal Environmental Data Management Systems such as EPA's Water Permit Compliance System (PCS), Hazardous Waste System (RCRAInfo), and Air Facility Subsystem (AFS).

This link provides an overview of MDEQ's One Stop Integrated Information Management System, enSite (electronic Environmental Site Information System).NOTE: We apologize but due to the federal requirement to comply with EPA's Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Regulation (CROMERR) requirements the enDx site has been brought offline until its replacement site has been moved into production. You can find a copy of the Baseline Storm Water General Permit Annual Comprehensive Site Inspection and Swppp Evaluation Report here.

One of four pilot applications in the development of the state of Mississippi’s ePortal, enDx (electronic Environmental Data Exchange) is a web-based application that supports the following electronic submissions:

  • Notice of Intents (NOIs) for coverage under the General Permit for construction activity which regulates storm water runoff at construction sites greater than 5 acres.
  • Baseline Storm Water Inspection Report and Certification Form, required under the Baseline Storm General Permit
  • Updates to facility information on file at MDEQ. The system allows regulated industry to view their facility data on file at MDEQ and submit modifications to that data.
MDEQ anticipates going live with this application Summer 2003. For more information on enDx please contact the enDx Project Manager.
