DMR and DEQ Urge Mississippi Commercial Fishermen to Sign Up for Vessel of Opportunity Program

BILOXI, Miss. – If you are a licensed Mississippi commercial fisherman with a large shrimp boat-size vessel and you would like to work in the BP Vessel of Opportunity program and have not yet signed up, the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) asks that you contact them immediately. Please call Lauren Thompson at 228-523-4053 or Shelly Becker at 228-523-4051 in MDMR Public Affairs with your name and a description of your vessel.
