MDEQ LIFTS TWO WATER CONTACT ADVISORIES N HARRISON COUNTY

(JACKSON, Miss.) -- The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted water contact advisories issued March 29 for two sampling stations in Harrison County.

The advisories are lifted for:

Station 5 - Pass Christian West Beach near Lady Mary Avenue -- extends from Elliot Street on the east to Fort Henry Avenue on the west.

●Station 8 - Gulfport West Beach near Fournier Avenue -- extends from Camp Avenue on the east to Marie Avenue on the west.
