MDEQ TO HOST CHURCH ENERGY EFFICIENCY WORKSHOP
(JACKSON, Miss.) –The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) is hosting an energy efficiency workshop for Jackson metro area churches on October 25. MDEQ’s Ombudsman Office and Small Business Environmental Assistance Program, along with Entergy Mississippi, will hold the seminar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, at the agency’s office located at 700 North State Street in Jackson. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The workshop will provide churches valuable insight on how to make simple, cost effective changes to their facilities to save money on utility bills and how to be more eco-friendly and environmentally responsible.
